Chiropractic Research Brief · August 24, 2026

A review of research on Tai Chi and related exercise found benefits for selected conditions, including physical function in knee osteoarthritis. Many findings were uncertain; the same movement program is unlikely to suit everyone.

What this means for patients

In a separate survey of people seeking care for chronic pain, people with similar pain scores described different levels of fear about movement. The survey could not show which treatment would work, but it gives us a better first question than a pain score alone.
