Chiropractic Research Brief · October 5, 2026
A randomized trial at one center compared two programs in 80 people with chronic low-back pain. At eight weeks, the group that received a combination of movement training, hands-on care, pain education, and group activities reported better pain and function than the routine physical-therapy group.
What this means for patients
Both groups received active care. The study cannot tell us which part of the combined program helped most, or whether the advantage lasts. One practical lesson is to ask about confidence and daily routines alongside strength and mobility.
